Welcome To Our Home Here you will meet us and learn about my three passions: my corgis, rescue, and canine health and nutrition. Each of my trio has a page as do the others who have been important in my life. Liberty's Story is one of an incredible rescue journey. Health and Nutrition is primarily a page of links to websites I have found to be helpful and informative as I moved from kibble feeding and mainstream veterinary care to feeding more biologically appropriate food and complementary health care. The Rescue page introduces some of the rescues in my life, why rescue is important, and some links to excellent rescue resources. The Artists page is my way of saying thank-you to those who have "captured" my crew in works of art. It showcases samples of their work and gives contact information if you're interested in having a portrait created of your beloved companion(s). This site is evolving, so visit us every now and then to see what has changed and what has been added as we continue our journey together. And, if it's been awhile since you've visited us, click the REFRESH button to view the updates. |

The Cardigan is the rarer and older of the two breeds. It's ears are larger and the tips are rounded. It is longer, heavier, comes in a greater variety of colors, and ALWAYS has a tail. Quest and Cochise are Pembroke litter mates. Dancer is a Cardigan.

We Support CorgiAid CorgiAid, a non-profit organization, exists to provide a framework for support of rescue efforts for Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgis, and corgi mixes, for the enhancement of animal welfare and the betterment of mankind. CorgiAid is a unique organization that started because a little rescue pembroke corgi was introduced to the Corgi-L message board. As a result of the outpouring of donations from members of the list, surgery corrected Heidi Braveheart 's problems and she found a loving home. Some money was left over and the seeds of this incredible organization began. It is Heidi's face peering from the life preserver in the CorgiAid logo. (Permission granted for logo use) CorgiAid sponsors an on-line auction each year. An incredible range of items are donated: pet supplies, cards, books, clothing, delectable eats, crafts, artwork (some custom), a free weekend in some lovely places. Pets and people alike benefit from those winning bids; but most of all those helped by CorgiAid are the real winners. To see one of the recipients, click here: Rescue A fun part of supporting CorgiAid has been participating in the creation of two quilts made by CorgiCrafters, a group of corgi owners and lovers united in quilting and crafting for the benefit of CorgiAid. Two have been made so far as auction/raffle items with all proceeds going to the CorgiAid treasury to help more rescued and fostered corgis and corgi mixes with their medical expenses. |
