1 Stephanie (who along with her mom, my dear friend Chris, accompanied me to meet Quest) holds a worried looking Quest on the day we met.

2 Quest meets Odie, my mom's beloved shih-tzu, now at the bridge.

Just a wee pup and already the flying frog dog pose was a natural.

Quest's first vet
visit
Those are bells hanging from her collar. She was so quiet, without those bells, I never knew where Miss Nosey Nora was.

He soon discovers that whatever she is, she's bossy. And, gentle giant that he was, he never minded that she was.

Quest meets Gerry's
sister, Brenda, for the first time - and, quite a conversation they had.

Quest was diagnosed with severe
bi-lateral hip dysplasia in 1997. Her double bone graft surgery was performed by an outstanding orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Barkely Slocum. Sadly, he died of cancer in 2001.

A month after surgery, Quest and godson #3, Josh, spend some time in Quest's hospital condo.
